Abstract
Dorothy and her companions walked through the open gate of the city and looked around them. Everything was built on an impressive scale and spotlessly clean. The companions were struck at once by the total absence of any visible color, as Dorothy had been when she saw the city from a distance. There were all conceivable shades of grey, but the colors of everything they looked at were completely neutral.
