Abstract
Dorothy and the Scarecrow walked on down the road, which shortly thereafter entered a wood. The visibility between the trees was good, and some way off Dorothy could see a glint of sun on bright metal. This intrigued her, for it seemed out of place in such natural surroundings, and she led her companion off the path and up to the spot she had noticed.
