Abstract
The role of the Internet in the business world has grown phenomonally over the last ten years. What was seen as “a toy for the computer geek” is now integral to the way we do business. The role of the Internet in health care is poised for the same sort of growth. Several of the health care applications that will be prominent in the next ten years are already being used on the Internet in small or developmental ways. As the role of the Internet develops in health care, these and other applications will gain in popularity and use.
