Abstract

Though still lagging behind group medical insurance, group dental insurance has grown dramatically from 4 million people covered in 1967 to 34 million in 1975. An even more recent phenomenon is the prepaid group dental practice (PGP), found predominantly in the Midwest and West, and covering about 2 million people.
