Abstract

A curve in ℝk is specified by giving a function \( \mathop {\rm{\gamma }}\limits^ \to :{r^1} \to {r^{\rm{k}}}. \) Then \( \mathop {\rm{\gamma }}\limits^ \to ({\rm{t)}} \) is that point on the curve corresponding to the parameter value t.
