Abstract

In this chapter, we discuss some fundamental properties of autonomous and periodic RFDEs. Because many of these properties also hold for abstract processes, we will develop the theory in an abstract setting and point out special features that apply to RFDEs. The abstract setting also will be sufficiently general to apply to the neutral functional differential equations in Chapter 12.
