Dermatologic Radiotherapy

Abstract

Many new developments in radiotherapy have their origin in radiobiologic research. It is through continued efforts in this field that we are able to test new types of radiation, study cellular kinetics, and find and apply new sensitizers and protective substances. Radiation protection is an important field of technology that has its foundation in general radiobiology (Rajew-sky and Pohlit 1959).
