Complications of Renal Transplantation

Abstract

The complications of renal transplantation are many and varied. With the hope transplantation allows, the number of transplantations are bound to increase; therefore, it is imperative to cut the complications to a minimum acceptable rate. The complications of transplantation, both medical and surgical, have appeared in the literature in recent years (1–69). Since it is almost impossible to discuss each of these complications in depth, only the major complications are presented here.

O speculator concerning this machine of ours let it not distress you that you impart knowledge of it, through another death, but rejoice that our Creator has ordained the intellect to such excellence of perception. Leonardo da Vinci Quaderni d’Anatomica Vol. II
