Abstract

Fresh sand dunes, moraines, lava flows, alluvium, and mine tailings possess the composition p and the shape configuration r. Their description as the initial state of landscape evolution is a benchmark like the birth record of a child. The infant develops, but the registry remains and is basic to growth studies.
