Abstract
I shall describe the efforts and successes of a special interest group in bringing about changes in attitudes, policies, and practices on a local level. Hospital policy tends to be even more engraved in stone than is federal legislation. C/SEC, or Cesareans/Support, Education, and Concern, is an organization of and for cesarean parents. For many people, the first question may be “Why a special organization for cesarean parents?”
