Abstract

Greta Thomas was the third and last child in her family. She was extremely pretty, and very popular, and in her early teens she never lacked dates. The change in her personality began sometime in her fifteenth year, when she became depressed and withdrawn.

I dreamt about suicide. I felt so worthless and useless—then I started drinking because it made me feel good and I liked it.

No patient should be worse for having seen a doctor. —Willie Evans
