Abstract

A large group of scientists in the United States has investigated the biologic effects of electromagnetic fields in the ELF range of frequencies in connection with a pending defense project. The resulting report (“Report of the Committee on Biosphere Effects,” 1977) provides a detailed survey of the current state of the science in the opinion of the researchers and experts who prepared it.
