Abstract

Let X1, X2,..., Xτ be random variables (variates) of a common distribution of a type for which the marginal distributions of the Xi are central chi-square distributions with vi degrees of freedom (i = 1, 2,..., τ). The common distribution of the Xi needsnot be known; also the vi need not all be equal.
