Abstract
In this chapter, we will determine the constant term, for t ↓ 0, of the super-trace of (9.34) in the case that Q = D2 and D is the spin-c Dirac operator. This will yield the formula (11.17) in Theorem 11.1 for the integrand, in the integral formula (7.11) for the index of D+.
