Abstract

The total-condylar prosthesis was developed at The Hospital for Special Surgery and has been used since March 1974. Since then the author has performed over 1000 knee arthroplasties. This subchapter describes the technique of total-condylar knee arthroplasty. Topics discussed in this chapter include the following:
