Abstract

Nine elliptic problems are used to illustrate the performance of ELLPACK modules. Each is a model for an important class of problems. The first seven are from the PDE population of Appendix A with the identification as given. The generic functionsf(x,y) andg(x,y) are used to denote complicated functions determined to make the givenu(x,y) functions the true solutions of the model problems.
