Abstract

The two general applications of system identification and linear prediction have been previously examined in parallel with analytical results in order to provide a physical basis for adaptive filtering. This chapter explores some additional applications to display the flexibility and versatility of adaptive methods. The applications of this chapter are by no means exhaustive, but are meant to provide more exposure to the use of adaptive signal processing. Additionally, the applications in this chapter are fairly straightforward and do not attempt to address all the specific implementation questions that are highly dependent on the specific hardware or software system used. More detailed system information can be gathered from the references listed.
