Abstract
In this chapter we discuss briefly certain conditions which often facilitate asymptotic arguments. These conditions are satisfied by a sufficient variety of situations to make their study interesting. Perhaps the most useful is the property called “contiguity” for sequences or nets {ℰv}, ℰv = {P0, v, P1, v} of binary experiments. The one-sided version of this is obviously some sort of “asymptotic domination.”
