Abstract
Among Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) — associated antibodies, the antibody against viral capsid antigen of the virus (anti-VCA) in IgA had been considered to be an outstanding feature of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC,1). Serological massive surveys and follow-up studies of NPC in China continent showed that anti-VCA in IgA was a valuable marker for early detection of the disease (2,3).
