Abstract
The radial nerve is the terminal branch of the posterior cord of the brachial plexus. It consistently receives fibers from vertebral levels C-6, C-7, and C-8. In most cases, it also receives a contribution from C-5, and not infrequently from C-4 and T-1. The radial nerve is characterized by a complex typographic pattern, and is subject to entrapment at several points along its course.
