Abstract
Analysis of problems with multiple criteria requires steps of identifying objectives, arranging these objectives into a hierarchy, and then measuring how well available alternatives perform on each criterion. The validity of the process requires a good start to this process—identification of what the decision maker or decision makers want to accomplish.
