Abstract
We are witnesses to a great surge of activity in epitope analysis. Powerful new motivations are joining together to drive powerful new technologies. The field is exploding with new ideas and new experiments. We aim here to survey this excitement to guess how the field will develop, and to place our own work within the context of these developments.
