Abstract
Various brief experimental efforts were initiated during the course of the workshop with the dual aim of both advancing transition research as well as fostering mechanisms of continuing interaction among the quests. This effort was largely successful, allowing presentation at this time of four papers representing diverse individual and collaborative efforts in the area of low speed transition experiments along with a discussion of the problem of transition control.
