The Geometry of Nonlinear Inference
Graphics have been used in earlier chapters to illustrate various aspects of nonlinear modeling. In this chapter graphical methods will be discussed systematically, to show how graphs may be used to help select a model, to diagnose problems, and to understand the relationships between data and parameters.
