Abstract
Since 1987 the relational data bank system “FELDGRAV” is in use by the State Geodetic Survey of Hessen, FRG. The data bank system is written in TURBO-PASCAL. A data logging system allows automatic data collecting within the data bank system. The software runs on IBM compatible portable Personal computers (PC). The ad hoc status of the system is described, whereby special emphasis is given to the adjustment procedure. Advantages of the system are seen in considerable acceleration of the observations and computations.
Achieved accuracy improvement within a high precision gravimetric network was about 10%.
