The Story about the Red Apple
The first learning experiment was based on how children understand “The story about the red apple” by J. Lööf. It was conducted by an assistant preschool teacher who had experience of children through her own work and of interviewing children through the courses she was attending. The assistant teacher had only been informed that I was working in different ways at the different preschools, but knew nothing of what was going on at any particular preschool. The results of the learning experiment with “The story about the red apple”, which will be described here, should be seen in the light of the fact that it also provided the assistant with her first opportunity of getting to know the children, since she also took part in another learning experiment (the cycle) later on.
