Abstract
This chapter does not focus strictly on the genetic liability for schizophrenia1 or the effects of environment in producing schizophrenia,2.3 but rather mainly on the interaction of genetic liabilities with experiential factors. This nature-nurture approach focuses on the degree of genetic risk and interactions with and effects of various environmental stressors.4 This is a relatively new field with few studies on these interactions.
