Basic Equations for Laminar Film Condensation of a Binary Vapor

The basic differential equations for steady laminar film condensation of a binary vapor mixture on a vertical flat cooling surface, for which the vapor flows parallel and downwards, are concisely explained in this chapter. The details of the derivation of the equations are described in Refs. 1, 2, and 3.
