Abstract
By “catch questions” I mean questions in physics to which all of us are somewhat tempted to give the wrong answers until we have thought them over carefully. They are of the greatest pedagogic value and so it seems to me that this department of the journal might serve well as a forum for their presentation. To start the ball rolling, I will contribute three that have been “sprung” on me by various friends.
