Abstract
Chapter IV aggregated the cycles of the reconstruction story within an area of 4800 km2 with 150,000 victims and losses amounting to $6.3 billion in the perspective of the financial planning of the two provinces Udine and Pordenone. Of course these stages are not reflected evenly in the different communities, and even their curves mirror only insufficiently the picture of hopes and disappointments, hardships, and stress of the individual families. Therefore, Anne Bardola, a member of our research team, studied more detailed reconstruction in four selected communities (Osoppo, Gemona, Venzone, and Bordano).
