Abstract

Developments in instrumentation over the past few years have resulted in a surge of activity in studies using convergent beam electron diffraction (CBED). The fundamental studies of CBED techniques and interpretation are far from complete, .making it impossible to include complete details in this book. Lengthy descriptions of methods and applications are given in the books by Tanaka and Terauchi [1985] and Tanaka, et al. [1988]. The subjects presented in this chapter cover details not explicitly covered elsewhere.
