Abstract
Some components produced from forgings for the manufacture of heavy tractors at the MA “Cheboksar Commercial Tractor Plant” (CCTP) are characterized by a low utilization factor of metal (UFM) (0.17 to 0.35), which results in the inefficient utilization of scarce constructional steels (40H, 33HS, 38HS, 20HN3A, 40GMFR, etc.) and increases machining costs.
