Abstract

Dermatology in Poland is very similar to that of other European countries but has some peculiarities of middle Europe. In the past, there was an endemic area of rhinoscleroma, specifically in Galicia. Presently, there are sporadic cases of sarcomatosis, Kaposi sarcoma of the Mediterranean type, and acrodermatisis atrophicans, sometimes with sclerodermatous indurations.
