Abstract
The most significant events in the future of arthroscopic laser surgery will involve publication of results of blinded prospective clinical studies. Information gathering and education are more important than improvements in technology at this point. There is so much new information to be learned, applied, and analyzed that the artroscopist must grasp the current state of technology before looking too far into the future.
