Abstract
Arthroscopy has long been recognized as a useful diagnostic and therapeutic technique for many shoulder disorders. Arthroscopic surgery is now considered the standard of care for many specific shoulder conditions, including cartilage tears, instability, loose bodies, arthritis, rotator cuff disease, impingement syndromes, and arthritis of the acromioclavicular joint. With a growing number of applications and surgical procedures there has been a parallel growth of interest in instrumentation that can help expedite these procedures while ensuring safe and reproducible results.
