Abstract

Plastic surgeons have learned how to take advantage of the skin’s elasticity. Using new concepts introduced in the field of plastic surgery concerning the skin’s ability to retract, plastic surgeons are treating large areas and tissue volumes through minimal incisions using techniques such as liposuction and periareolar breast reduction.
