Abstract
In this chapter we present a first application of the abstract stability theory developed in Chapter 1. We start with a simple model, involving a single nonlinear operator, namely, a nonlinear version of the heat equation, of the form u t = ΔΦ(u), where Φ(u) is an increasing real-valued function.
