Colliding Microdrops of Water

Abstract

Collision of microdrops are important in microwave, chemical nucleation and raindrop studies (Adam, Lindblad and Hendricks (1968), Peterson (1985), Simpson and Haller (1988)). In this chapter, we shall show how to simulate collisions of microdrops of water. Since the interaction during collisions will be independent of gravity, we will neglect long-range forces.
