Abstract

One argument that is frequently posed, especially in commercial settings, to reject free or public domain software is the lack of a licensing company that provides support and a hotline. In the hotline USA some companies have recognized this market niche and offer commercial support for free software. A similar trend is developing free software in Europe as well.
