Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain

  • Chapter
Chronic Pelvic Pain

Abstract

Endometriosis is a common disorder confronting any physician that cares for reproductive-age women; however, it is among the most enigmatic of gynecologic disorders. Among the many morbidities associated with endometriosis, foremost is its relationship with pelvic pain. This symptom can affect up to three fourths of all those with clinical evidence of endometriosis.
