Abstract

Villman et al., (1990) have studied the histomorphometrical analysis of the influence of soft diet on masticatory muscle development in the muscular dystrophic mouse. The muscle fibre size distributions were fitted by an inverse Gaussian law. We discuss the nature of the problem and the investigation as developed by these authors.
