Abstract
The surgical management of cancer occurring in Crohn’s disease is complex. The myriad modes of presentation, the variety of anatomical sites, the presence or absence of fistulas or abscesses, and the possibility of multiple cancers make the operative care a challenge to the physician. Preoperative, operative, and postoperative care require expertise in Crohn’s disease and a concomitant knowledge of oncologic surgery.
