Somatic Sensation III

The Physiology of Somatic Sensation
  • Oswald Steward

The preceding chapter describes the functional anatomy of the somatosensory system, and that coverage provides the basis for much of what physicians need to know. However there are some clinical phenomena that require an understanding of the physiology of the somatosensory system. This chapter summarizes the physiological principles that are important for physicians.
