Four-Dimensional Vector Spaces and Linear Mappings

Abstract

The three-dimensional vectors in Newtonian physics are generalized into four-dimensional vectors in the theory of relativity. This four-dimensional vector space is called the Minkowski vector space and is denoted by V4. This vector space is over the real field ℝ.
