Abstract

As new technologies emerge health care works to make use of the capabilities they offer. Intranets the Internet and the World Wide Web support an increas­ingly robust communications environment. Wireless and portable technologies are providing access at the point of care. Clearly technical innovations continue to keep pace with and support the evolution of health care. We see incredible opportunities for synergy between these two industries each of which is chang­ing at an astounding rate.
