Abstract

The dead-beat ripple-free tracking problem for multivariable multirate sampled-data systems is considered. A necessary and sufficient condition for the problem solvability is given in a constructive way. The proposed approach involves the associated time-invariant representation of periodic systems and polynomial matrix methods.
