Abstract
This paper describes work done over the past three years at Worcester Polytechnic Institute aimed at integrating Maple computer labs and projects into freshman calculus. We give an overview of the course structure and then provide examples drawn from labs we have used. We also describe the Maple CalcP package, a set of about thirty Maple procedures written at WPI for use in the course.
