Enzyme-Labeled Oligonucleotides

  • Chapter

Abstract

Investigators using the polymerase chain reaction as an analytical method or for developing clinical applications can envision a number of ways to detect amplified target nucleic acid sequences by hybridization to a specific oligonucleotide probe. The nonisotopic detection method of interest for this article is the use of enzyme labels.
