On Barter Contracts in Electricity Exchange

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Annals of the International Society of Dynamic Games ((AISDG,volume 1))

Abstract

We present a model for intertemporal electricity exchange between two independent power producers. The exchange is based on the diversity of the companies’ marginal production costs at the different periods. The exchange is carried out in the form of a barter contract. An axiomatic approach to bargaining is used to define the contract.
