Abstract
We conclude by demonstrating a few applications of the theory developed. It might have become obvious that the theory demonstrates what is to be considered good design. Most geodetic works aim at having small and circular confidence ellipses. This is achieved by homogeneous and isotropic observations taken in regular networks. Yet some engineering jobs may ask for an improved strength along a centerline of the construction rather than an overall uniform strength.
